The College鈥檚 premiere participation event for prospective students is making the leap to the online world, with virtual Experience 大发快三平台 sessions launching next month.

Starting Feb. 16, College professors will welcome prospective students, parents and employers in for program overviews or a glimpse of what a post-secondary classroom is like. Participants will get a first-hand look at the topics covered in these programs, including sustainability, Indigenous and technological issues facing the world today.

Kicking off the series is a two-for-one showcase of the College鈥檚 new Applied Bachelor of Arts: Community Research and Evaluation.

鈥淭he Applied Bachelor of Arts degree is not only new to 大发快三平台, this credential is new to the entire region and designed with the community鈥檚 needs in mind as local organizations tackle some of the most pressing social issues: food insecurity, homelessness and addiction, to name just a few,鈥 said Robert Huxtable, 大发快三平台 Dean of Arts and Foundational Programs.

鈥淔or Experience 大发快三平台, students can get a high-level view of the Applied Bachelor of Arts program, followed up with a deep-dive on a specific topic with faculty members on how they would approach the issue from a Sociology, Psychology and Social Work perspective.鈥
